Changemaker brings vaudeville back with a twist.
Pottstown, PA coming March 16, 2024 – Changemaker is thrilled to announce the bringing of vaudeville to Pottstown with a unique and entertaining twist. The Cirque Du Vaudeville Gatsby, a two-hour theater showcase, will feature a variety of skits, jokes, high-energy dance numbers, unique novelty songs, and comedic presentations that are guaranteed to entertain and make you laugh your worries away.
Vaudeville, a popular form of entertainment in the United States from the mid-1890s to the early 1930s, featured a variety of individual acts, including magicians, acrobats, comedians, trained animals, jugglers, singers, and dancers. Changemaker Presents is bringing back this beloved form of entertainment with a modern twist, incorporating elements of avant-garde art and culture.
The Cirque Du Vaudeville Gatsby will be held at Rivet Canteen and Assembly on March 16 at 6 pm. Proceeds from the event will benefit Ann Francis Outreach Foundation, Helping Hands Inc., and The YWCA Tri-County.
“We are excited to bring laughter and quality entertainment to Pottstown with this unique vaudeville show,” said Lee, President of Changemaker Inc. “We believe that art and culture have the power to bring people together and make a difference.
